How We Got Started with Beekeeping
My name is Vimal Vadher, a beekeeper and the founder of Indigenous Honey. This journey began in 2015 with a deep love for nature and a simple goal — to bring the goodness of pure, natural honey to more people. What started small has now grown into a trusted name under Turritopsis Private Limited, reaching over 500,000 customers.
This is not just a business story. It’s a journey of trust, care, and nature’s healing touch.
The idea came when a close friend was suffering from Ulcerative Colitis, a painful digestive condition. In search of natural relief, we turned to raw, unprocessed honey — and saw real benefits. That experience inspired everything that followed.
Since then, the focus has remained the same: to provide 100% pure, raw, and unfiltered honey. Nothing added, nothing taken away — just real honey from the hive, made with care, shared with honesty.
Is White Foam on Top of My Honey Normal?
Yes, it’s completely normal — and actually a good sign. The white foam you see on top means your honey is raw and unprocessed. It forms when air bubbles rise to the surface during bottling without heat, keeping all the natural goodness intact. This foam often contains tiny bits of pollen, propolis, and beeswax — some of the healthiest parts of real honey. It’s safe to eat and shows your honey is pure.
Why Does My Honey Crystallize? Is That Normal?
Yes, crystallization is completely natural and actually a sign that your honey is raw and unprocessed. When honey thickens or becomes grainy, it doesn’t mean it’s gone bad — it’s just the natural sugars settling over time. If you prefer it smooth again, just place the jar in sunlight for a while. It will return to its liquid form without losing any of its taste or health benefits.
