Juliflora Honey Roasted Potatoes

raw honey roasted vegetables recipe

 Ingredients :

You’ll need 2 to 3 medium potatoes, washed and cut into cubes or wedges. You’ll also need 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of raw Juliflora Honey, 1/2 teaspoon paprika or chili powder, a pinch of garlic powder (optional), salt, and black pepper. For best results, use pure, raw, unprocessed Juliflora Honey to add depth and natural richness.

How to Make :

Step 1 – Preheat your oven
Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature ensures the potatoes get crispy and golden on the outside while staying soft inside. While the oven is heating, prepare your baking tray. Line it with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Step 2 – Wash, cut, and dry the potatoes
Take 2 to 3 medium potatoes and wash them well. You can peel them or leave the skin on, depending on your preference. Cut the potatoes into evenly sized cubes or wedges. Rinse them once more in cold water to remove excess starch. Then, dry the potato pieces with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel—this helps them roast better and become crispier.

Step 3 – Season the potatoes
Place the potato pieces in a large mixing bowl. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon paprika (for a mild smoky flavor), a pinch of garlic powder if using, salt, and black pepper to taste. Toss everything well until all the potato pieces are coated evenly with the oil and seasonings.

Step 4 – Arrange and roast
Spread the seasoned potatoes out on your prepared baking tray. Make sure the pieces are in a single layer and not crowded—this helps them roast evenly and get crispy. Place the tray in the preheated oven and roast for 30 to 35 minutes, flipping the potatoes once around the halfway mark. Roast until they are golden brown on the edges and fork-tender in the middle.

Step 5 – Prepare the Juliflora Honey glaze
While the potatoes are roasting, take a small bowl and mix 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of raw Juliflora Honey with 1 teaspoon of warm water or lemon juice. This helps thin the honey slightly so it spreads more evenly. Stir until smooth.

Step 6 – Glaze the roasted potatoes
Once the potatoes are fully roasted, remove them from the oven and immediately drizzle the Juliflora Honey glaze over them while they’re still hot. Use a spoon or spatula to toss the potatoes gently so the honey coats every piece. The warmth of the potatoes will lightly caramelize the honey, giving a glossy finish and deeper flavor.

Step 7 – Serve hot and enjoy
Transfer the glazed potatoes to a serving plate or bowl. Garnish with optional toppings like chopped parsley, chili flakes, or a light sprinkle of sea salt. Serve immediately as a side dish, snack, or in wraps and bowls.
