Lychee Honey Glazed Grilled Paneer / Tofu

glazed tofu with raw local pure honey

Ingredients :

You’ll need 200 grams of paneer or firm tofu, cut into medium-sized cubes. For the glaze, you’ll need 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of raw Lychee Honey, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and a pinch of black pepper or chili flakes if you like a little spice. Use 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter for grilling. Make sure your Lychee Honey is raw, unprocessed, and pure to keep the flavor clean and fresh.

How to Make :

Step 1 – Prepare the glaze
In a small bowl, mix 1.5 tablespoons of raw Lychee Honey, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and a pinch of black pepper. Stir until it becomes a smooth glaze. This sauce will give a fruity, sweet, and lightly tangy flavor.

Step 2 – Cut and dry the paneer or tofu
Take paneer or tofu, cut it into bite-sized cubes, and pat them dry using a clean cloth or paper towel. This helps in better browning and prevents sticking during cooking.

Step 3 – Grill or pan-sear
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Add the paneer or tofu cubes and cook them on all sides until lightly golden and crispy on the outside. This should take about 4–5 minutes.

Step 4 – Add the Lychee Honey glaze
Once the cubes are golden, reduce the flame to low. Pour the honey glaze over them and quickly toss or stir so that each piece gets coated evenly. The glaze will lightly bubble and stick to the cubes, creating a sweet, shiny coating.

Step 5 – Serve hot
Turn off the heat and plate your Lychee Honey glazed paneer or tofu immediately. You can sprinkle a few sesame seeds or fresh herbs (like parsley or coriander) on top for garnish.
