Warm Herbal Tea with Raw Ajwain Honey

floral local honey warm tea

Ingredients :

To make this tea, you will need 1 and 1/2 cups of water, a small slice of fresh ginger, and a pinch of turmeric (optional). After boiling the tea, you will add 1 tablespoon of raw Ajwain Honey. You can also add a few drops of lemon juice if you want extra freshness. This tea is best when served warm.

How to Make :

Step 1 – Heat the water
Take a small pot and add 1 and 1/2 cups of water. Place it on the stove and turn on the flame to medium heat. Let the water begin to heat up.

Step 2 – Add ginger and turmeric
Once the water is warm, add a small slice of fresh ginger to it. If you want to make the tea stronger and more healing, you can also add a small pinch of turmeric powder at this stage. Ginger helps with sore throat and turmeric is good for immunity.

Step 3 – Let it boil and simmer
Allow the water to come to a boil. Once it starts boiling, lower the heat and let it simmer for about 5 to 7 minutes. This helps the ginger and turmeric mix well with the water.

Step 4 – Strain the tea
After simmering, turn off the heat. Use a strainer to pour the tea into a cup. This will remove the ginger slice and any extra turmeric from the water.

Step 5 – Let it cool slightly
Before adding honey, wait for 1–2 minutes so the tea becomes warm but not too hot. If the tea is too hot, it can reduce the natural benefits of the honey.

Step 6 – Add raw Ajwain Honey
Now add 1 tablespoon of raw Ajwain Honey to your cup. Stir it gently until it mixes completely. This honey has a strong taste and natural power that helps with cold, cough, and digestion.

Step 7 – Add lemon (optional)
If you like a light tangy flavor, you can also add a few drops of lemon juice. It adds freshness and boosts vitamin C.

Step 8 – Drink warm and relax
Sip the tea slowly while it is still warm. It gives a soothing feeling to the throat, and helps reduce gas, bloating, and cough naturally.
